Baby Tray Armor a safer place for our little ones to eat!
Thanks to Baby Tray Armor, a fashionable water resistant highchair tray cover parents can now relax. This amazing product was sent to BabySmartz for review, we immediately thought is was a great concept. All parents are highchair tray obsessed with sanitation and feeling compelled to clean excessively. The tray is a great place for pets to hangout and take a nap, and the #1 place bacteria grows. Our little ones eat on these trays which are equal to our dinner plates. So keeping it clean and free of germs is something all parents are concern about. The highchair tray is exposed all day and night and just about anything can get to it. Instead of cleaning it 100 times a day, why not clean it once and cover it so its clean for the next mealtime? Thanks to Bonnie Murch the founder of Baby Tray Armor parents can relax during meal time knowing the highchair tray is clean. BabySmartz showcased this product at mommy & me brunch and it received raved reviews! This product is PVC Free & washable. Shhh....Night Night Rockabye Baby to Guns n' Roses?
Rockabye Baby Music
We have all been there bedtime is tough no matter what age, I like to say from ages 0-3. All babies are different you have the light sleepers who wake when the floor boards crack when you exit the room. Then you have your knock outs that sleep through everything which makes transferring from car to bed a breeze. BabySmartz was asked to review the Rockabye Baby Collection which by the way is absolutely wonderful. I remember doing late night feedings in the nursery in the glider and I would put on lullabies. Lets be honest lullabies are for the babies, not us! But with Rockabye Baby Collections you will find yourself singing to Guns n' Roses, Beatles, U2, Bob Marley, Green Day, and so many others. What we found so amazing was the way they turned these sounds into such incredible soft lullabies. Your child will be soothed by the amazing instrumentals as you sing along in your head. Rockabye Baby has made lullabies something we all can enjoy and appreciate. Make your next lullaby a rockin one check out Rockabye Baby Music

C-section rates around the globe at 'epidemic' rates
Nearly half of all births in China are delivered by cesarean section, the world’s highest rate, according to a survey by the World Health Organization — a shift toward modernization that isn’t necessarily a good thing.
The boom in unnecessary surgeries is jeopardizing women’s health, the U.N. health agency warned in the report published online Tuesday in the medical journal The Lancet.
Unnecessary C-sections are costlier than natural births and raise the risk of complications for the mother, said the report surveying nine Asian nations. It noted C-sections have reached “epidemic proportions” in many countries worldwide. Read full AP article here

'Fetal Homicide' Bill Proposed In Vt. Legislature
A ‘fetal homicide’ bill recently introduced in the Vermont Legislature would establish stiff penalties for the death of a fetus caused by a car accident, WPTZ reports. The bill is a response to the death of Patricia Blair’s twin fetuses, which were killed in a car accident in August 2009. Although the driver of the car that caused the accident is facing a series of charges, none relate to the demise of the fetuses because a fetus is not considered a person under Vermont law.

IsaBooties Product Review
We had the opportunity to do a product review for IsaBooties Soft Soled Shoes. We received the shoes a few weeks ago but wanted to give them a real test and had my 18 month old wear them. So she has been wearing them around the house and on playdates. We have learned that the booties are washable because we had a potty training mishap. Just as the company advertises the booties are wash/dryable which is such a convenience.
The booties are well made and are a great substitution for socks. They are not to be used on pavement but can used everywhere else. Perfect for play spots that require socks. I keep them in my bag so I always have them on hand. I like to use them when she is dressed with tights because too many slips. The bottoms are designed for traction. Aside from being completely adorable, my favorite feature is that my little one can't take them off as easily as she can everything else.
Overall I think these booties are super cute and dependable for Moms today. After a few wears and some machine washing the booties look like they did when they first arrived. Great for homes with hardwood floors and you don't have to worry about what they are made of because IsaBooties took care of that. These shoes are formaldehyde-free, 100% machine washable/machine dryable just like socks offering a clean, healthy choice in footwear. The packaging is recycled/recyclable and printed with soy ink. These shoes are made in the USA and have tons of very cute styles to choose from. Looking for a great gift for that little one in your family? Start shopping at http://www.isabooties.com/ and use promo code babysmartz to get 20% off. Ends 12/31/09.
